Akher Zapheer (Arabic: أخِر زَفير‎ meaning Last Exhalation) is a Jordanian Grunge Punk, Arabic Rock band from Amman, Jordan, formed in 2008.[1][2][3][4]

The songs are written by the band itself and the lyrics are of course in Arabic. [5] [6] [7] Akher Zapheer's debut album was released in 2012 and is titled عكس ثقافة (Converse Culture). [8] [9] It was produced by Sari Abuladel and contains 11 songs including their hit singles "Akherto Lahen Hazeen" (اخرتو لحن حزين), "Lailee Tal" (ليلي طال).[10][11] and "Arba' Sneen" (أربع سنين) They were once featured in an Egyptian TV show. They represent a growing musical taste in Amman. [12] [13] [14] [15]
