The Cork Independent is a newspaper in Cork, Ireland. According to the Audit Bureau of Circulation, its circulation is 41,226 combining bulk and letterbox distribution.[1] The paper contains local news, health and beauty, business, opinion, social events, entertainment, motoring and property as well as columns by local broadcasters PJ Coogan, Jonathan Healy and Finbarr McCarthy and restaurateur and socialite Sandra Murphy.

The Cork Independent is published by the IFN Group, which also publishes the Galway Independent Newspaper.

The newspaper has been published under the Cork Independent masthead since 2007 and was previously Inside Cork, owned by UTV. Its longest-serving contributor is racing columnist Eddie Goggin. The newspaper has also embraced new media with Corkindependent.com and a presence on Facebook (22,769)and Twitter (11,270).
